I chose a sleek ponytail as my 'smart' hairstyle. Although this hairstyle could be considered boring and plain, I think it's sleek and stylish. I feel this hairstyle is smart because the hair is neatly off the face into a tidy ponytail, meaning the wearer wouldn't be able to hide behind their hair.
I think this style would be great for an office job as well as the red carpet. However, I feel people only with a certain bone structure can pull this off. The hair has to follow the natural lines of the face to create the ponytail, therefore I think people with an oval shape face could pull this look off.
I also love the piece of hair wrapped around the bobble as it adds something extra to the 'standard ponytail'.
